Current Project

Morehouse College's senior Oprah Winfrey Scholars, in collaboration with student storytellers from the Advanced Multimedia & Storytelling course, present a powerful and immersive documentary exploring the complexities of homelessness in Atlanta.

Through their work at the historic St. Francis Kitchen, the Scholars gain firsthand insights into the challenges faced by those experiencing shelterlessness. This innovative film, shot in an immersive 180-degree format, places the audience directly alongside the Scholars, fostering a deeper understanding and empathy for the individuals and communities impacted by this crisis.

Lab

The Morehouse Multimedia Center (MMC), established in 2025, empowers the next generation of storytellers. The center provides students with equipment, workshops, professional development opportunities, and serves as a creative employment hub.

The MMC is the launchpad for BHXR, providing dedicated space for research activities and fostering innovation in immersive storytelling.
